This explosion isolation valve is a solenoid check valve comprised of an explosion isolation solenoid directional control valve serially linked to a hydraulic-operated check valve in the control fluid loop. It has both the function of a check valve to pass in the positive direction and to shut off in the opposite direction, on the other hand, it is activated by the electrical signals to open and close the fluid loop, in positive directions.
